finally got to scrap my orchid photo
for Crystal’s first Dare #172
I am soooo glad that Spring is finally on its way! It felt like Winter was going
to drag on forever didn’t it?! Now that it’s beginning to be Spring lots are in
the Spring Cleaning mode. I thought it would be fun to put that idea onto our
pages! So..we are gonna go clean and simple today.
–Use 1 photo that screams Spring! Can be flowers, pastels, sunshine, etc. I
just want to feel the warmth of spring in your photo.
–Scrap “clean and simple” meaning make your photo be the focus and use a
minimum amount of embellishments. Your photo should be doing all the work.
–A large title is a must! It should help set the tone of your whole page and
should be obvious.
For those that don’t quite understand what I mean by “clean and simple” check
out the gallery of Cathy Zielske. As the author of
more than one book about clean and simple scrapbooking she is truly a master.
